After two days of rain, the clouds parted for Atlanta Streets Alive in the historic West End. We had the opportunity to speak to dozens of cyclist who all talked about bike friendliness in Atlanta and the challenges that face the West End and Atlanta as a whole.
One of the most important cycling issues facing the Atlanta area is connecting the Silver Comet Trail.
"The Silver Comet trail has, for a long time, been three miles short of completion. The three mile section from the Mavell Road entry point to the PATH trail on the east side of the river at South Atlanta Road has not been finished, and if finished it would connect a continuous path from the Beltline in Atlanta to Alabama. Let's build the momentum & see this section built!"
